IMHO, I think the majority of qualified, fitness professionals are absolute Rock Stars!

You know why?  Because everyday, you survive an onslaught of negative bias.  You are survivors... no, better than that, you are fitness warriors!  

Just look at how fitness professionals are beaten down.  There's the stereotype "bonehead" and "bimbo" image of trainers perpetuated in movies and TV.

• But, you offset that image by being articulate, professional and cool under pressure.

Then, our own certification organizations set all kinds of restrictions ... some good, some bad... God forbid you even mention the word.... "nutrition" or "supplements."   

• But rather than be silenced, you know in your heart that all fitness professionals must address the nutrition component of clients' lifestyles.  So, you find a way.

Then, there are the scam artists and dishonest marketers who prey on the misinformed general public in the name of "fitness" that give us all a bad name. 

• So, you take on the challenges that no one else (schools, media, fitness industry principals, corporations, medical professional) is willing to address:  PUBLIC EDUCATION.  And you do it through OUTREACH via seminars, workshops, public speaking and a variety of educational forums. 

So, the next time you're having a down day.... I want you to remember, there is at least one person who is an absolute fan of everything you do.... 

ROCK ON... WARRIORS!
