Get this! Last Sunday, I needed to purchase two new hard drives for our office computers. So, I did the research and settled on two Seagate hard drives at a local retail store and made the purchase.
When I got home, just 15 minutes later, I found THIS email in my inbox…..
Are you kidding me??? This is incredible. Sure, we all get a "thank you" from online merchants… along with the invoice number, sales receipt, etc.
But, my family spends money at
- retail stores,
- restaurants,
- 3 different health clubs
- and all kinds of places.
But NEVER have we received a quick “Thank you” note from a brick and mortar establishment.
It got me to thinking. HOW COME I DON’T DO THIS?
I mean, really. Wouldn’t it be nice if you received a quick thank you note letting you know how much I appreciate your business? That I don’t take it for granted?
And what about you and your clients?
- If you’re a club owner and someone just plunked down a membership fee… wouldn’t it be nice if that person received a “Thank You” before they even got home?
- What if a person just purchased a 3 pack or more of personal training sessions?
- How about a Boot Camp sign-up?
It’s such a simple thing. It doesn’t need to be elaborate. Just… well, “Thank You.”
